Bangladesh Railway is constructing the Single Line Dual Gauge Railway Track from Dohazari to Cox’s Bazar via Ramu. The Government of Bangladesh (GOB) will finance the Project through a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Bangladesh Railway entrusted DORP with the responsibility to support in implementation of the LAP and Resettlement Action plan as well as to conduct additional social development activities related to the project. The implementation of the RP, is going on following the ADB safeguard Policy Statement and the Ordinance1982 of the Government of Bangladesh.
